Allylix, Inc. is an early stage biotechnology company that uses genetically engineered yeast to manufacture fine chemicals. Allylix has the following opening in its Lexington, Kentucky research laboratory.
Research Assistant - full time.
This position requires a B.S. degree in life sciences, chemistry, or biochemistry. The position involves molecular biology techniques including DNA purification, PCR, and gene cloning and expression and requires experience with handling, maintaining, and growing microorganisms. Experience with proteins, enzyme assays, or metabolic engineering is a plus.
